I believe that on articles where a wikipedian believes a revert is possible, that they should attempt to break their edits up into relatively small chunks. Many wikipedians refrain from this in order to avoid appearing to have editcountitis, however editing this way prevents large amounts of un-contentious changes from being removed (and potentially painstakingly re-added), prevents people from re-reverting in order save their other edits, and makes discussion about the actual contentious material easier and clearer!

• "This is a small issue, but it is representative of the liberal/far-left/communist/democrat bias/propoganda of wikipedia"
• "XYZ is not true, I went to the place myself and ZYX is true"
• "Person x was evil/an awful leader, they dont deserve to be referred to as the grand poobah of shangri-la"
• "PLEASE FIX THE INACCURACIES IN THIS ARTICLE" always in full caps
• "Please let me edit this article to fix the errors"
• "Caesar is evil, everyone from Gomphi knows this"
