Varun Saranga is a Canadian actor, who has had recurring roles on several television series, including Wynnona Earp, Burden of Truth, Go Away, Unicorn!, Carter, The Best Laid Plans, How to be Indie and Workin' Moms.[1][2]

In 2015 Saranga was invited to participate in the Canadian Film Centre's year-long Actor's Workshop.[3]

Saranga was added as a recurring character to Wynnona Earp, in season two.[4][5] The show is celebrated for creating gay characters whose gender preference is incidental.[6] Saranga's character, Jeremy, is gay.[7]

The drama Burden of Truth's 2019 second season revolves around Kristin Kreuk's character, Joanna's new client, a hacktivist who has learned dangerous secrets, played by Saranga.[8]
