I am watching a segment of PBS's NOW about preventive detention in the UK.

• Carey Bolavont (sp?) a UK citizen under a control order, was detained under a control order in 2006, when he tried to fly to Syria. He traveled with a companion, who had a brother who was being tried for terrorism.
