Nicotinic Receptors[edit]

Hi, I would like to politely inform you that I removed an edit [you made] back in Oct 2008 from the Nicotinic acetylcholine receptor article, and wanted to give you a heads-up because, although it's incorrect, it had a citation.

This statement was:

  • "The neuronal forms also differ from the muscle forms in that they are not sensitive to α-bungarotoxin (Augustine (2008) Neuroscience, 4th ed)."

example of one citation to the contrary

Cheers

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Bulgakov1936.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 08:10, 3 January 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Magog the Ogre (talk) 08:10, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Bulgakov photos[edit]

Hi Fuzzform; could you please provide the source you have on those photos? I notice the photos still don't have a source. Thanks. Magog the Ogre (talk) 03:03, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Hey[edit]

Yeah the selectivity regarding the releasing agents is kind of sketchy. Feel free to edit it at will. David E. Nichols coined the term "selective serotonin releasing agent" in this study:

Marona-Lewicka D, Nichols DE. (1994) Behavioral effects of the highly selective serotonin releasing agent 5-methoxy-6-methyl-2-aminoindan. Eur J Pharmacol. 258(1-2), 1-13.

I figured I'd just go with it and see if it caught on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rocknroll714 (talkcontribs) 20:25, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

NowCommons: File:Hexachlorophene.svg[edit]

File:Hexachlorophene.svg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Hexachlorophene.svg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Hexachlorophene.svg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 13:11, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

Image Pipamperone1.svg[edit]

Hello, this image (in commons) has an error. The "Fl" group at the bottom is in fact a fluor atom, which is written "F".

The correction is trivially done with a text editor and a search replace of "Fl" with "F".

Now I see two possibilities:

* You go on commons and upload a corrected version of the file yourself
* I do it but we have to go trough the whole permission business. That is you have to send me an email saying you agree for me to make the modification, and I have to send this and other stuff to a group at commons to finally have the change approved.

I hope I can count on you for going with the first option, which is the simplest. Thanks in advance. Barsamin (talk) 12:42, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
