The Loud House Movie[edit]

My version of the plot summary for The Loud House Movie:

Plot[edit]

Twenty-two years ago, Lynn Loud Sr. meets Rita, who he falls in love with. After a few dates[N 1], they eventually get married, move to their own house, and give birth to eleven children. In the present day, Lincoln shows his baby sister, Lily, his plan to get breakfast; outsmarting his other sisters, he and Lily manage to get their burritos first before their other sisters could. With his sisters busy with activities, Lincoln assists his sisters. The Louds then have a celebratory dinner, where Lincoln begins to think that he lives in the shadow of his sisters.

After a talk with his best friend, Clyde, about where one side of his family came from, Lincoln asks his parents the same question. While Rita states that most of her family came from Royal Woods, Lynn Sr. is unsure about his side of the family. This leads to Lisa doing an experiment where she traces Lynn Sr.'s heritage to Scotland. The Louds then head to Scotland for a week-long vacation on a hectic trip involving parachuting from a cargo hold, flying in a hot air balloon, and traveling in a submarine. Upon arriving in the Scottish town of Loch Loud, a town filled with many oddities, the Louds learn from the citizens of the town that they are descendants of Scottish royalty and are led to a castle ran by groundskeeper Angus and the disgruntled property caretaker Morag.

Angus then shows the family a painting of their descendants that bears a striking resemblance to themselves and reveals they ruled the town for many years before sailing away forever. Lincoln eventually learns from Angus that his own ancestral counterpart, the Duke of the family, was the most special member of the family, much to his delight. Wanting to become the new Duke of Loch Loud, he partakes in many community service events to help restore the village to its former glory and eventually guilt trips the rest of the family into moving to Scotland forever since the family no longer has to share one bathroom.

As the Louds adjust to their discovery, meeting the ghost of their descendant Lucille Loud, a baby dragon who grows very fast that they name Lela, and enjoying their time in the castle, Morag becomes frustrated with the family after living in the castle peacefully and quietly for many years. She then devises a plan like her ancestor Aggie to get the family to leave Loch Loud forever by hypnotizing Lela with a magic gemstone known as the Dragon Stone and the royal scepter.

After the sisters begin to get attention in the village, Morag tricks Lincoln into riding Lela to try to get back his attention. While he rides the dragon, she uses the gemstone and scepter to hypnotize it into destroying the town so Lincoln could get blamed for the chaos. Feeling guilty for the damage, Lincoln asks the family to return home to Royal Woods. As the family leaves for home, Morag proceeds to make herself the new duchess of the town much to the displeasure of the villagers. In response, she hypnotizes Lela again to cause more destruction to the village.

The ghost of Lucille tells the family of Morag's plan and what she is doing to the town. The Loud children, head back to the town on a row boat and team up to defeat Morag and un-hypnotize Lela. The sisters eventually get the scepter back and Lincoln, using his magic skills and with help from Lily, destroys the gemstone, breaking Lela out of her spell. Morag is dropped on an island filled with seals bearing resemblance to the Louds. The town of Loch Loud congratulates the family and asks Lincoln to resume his place as the duke of the kingdom, though Lincoln declines and instead offers the crown to Angus instead, feeling he deserved to be duke more, a decision approved by the villagers and the ghosts of the Loud ancestors.

After helping repair the village, the Loud family says goodbye to Angus and the villagers and sets sail back home to Royal Woods. Bobby arrives in Scotland too late to find that Lori is on her way back to Royal Woods. Clyde welcomes Lincoln back to Royal Woods with some duke cupcakes.

During the credits, still images are shown that include but are not limited to the Duke's ghost riding Lela, Bobby finally reuniting with Lori, Leni contacting her love interest Scott online, Lincoln winning a 3rd place trophy with Lily present, Lela having laid three eggs, and Angus and the ghosts rescuing Morag who now works as the groundskeeper with Lela keeping her in line.

Unused Stuff[edit]

The other sisters tell Rita they have their own activities to do, which launches the parents to a panic, though Lincoln assists his sisters at their activities.

Transformers (film)[edit]

Plot[edit]

Thousands of years ago, the planet Cybertron was consumed by a civil war between the two Transformer factions, the Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, and the Decepticons, led by Megatron. The Autobots want to find the AllSpark, the source of all Cybertronian life, so they can use it to rebuild Cybertron and end the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons, while the Decepticons want to use it to defeat the Autobots and conquer the universe. Megatron, though managing to find the AllSpark on Earth, crash-landed and was frozen in the Arctic Circle. In 1897, Captain Archibald Witwicky and his crew of explorers stumble upon Megatron's frozen body, where Captain Witwicky accidentally activates Megatron's navigational system, causing his eyeglasses to be imprinted with the coordinates of the AllSpark's location. Soon, Sector Seven, a top-secret segment of the United States government, discovers the AllSpark in the Colorado river and builds the Hoover Dam around it, masking its energy signals. The inert body of Megatron is moved there and was reverse-engineered to advance human technology.

In the present day, a group of Decepticons—Blackout, Scorponok, Frenzy, Barricade, Starscream, Brawl and Bonecrusher—have landed on Earth, assuming the disguises of Earth vehicles. Blackout and Scorponok attack the U.S. SOCCENT military base in Qatar and try to hack into the U.S. military network to find the location of Megatron and the AllSpark. The defending soldiers suffer losses, but the attacking Decepticons are unable to hack into the network. However, the military discovers its only effective weapons against the Transformers' armor are high-heat sabot rounds.

Sam Witwicky is a fledging college student and one of the descendants of Captain Witwicky who has a crush on his fellow classmate Mikaela Banes. Sam explains to his class his family's legacy through Archibald's eyeglasses during a show-and-tell session. Looking to purchase his first car, Sam is interested in a classic Chevrolet Camaro[1]; unbeknownst to him, the car is actually the Autobot named Bumblebee, which he purchases over a Volkswagen Beetle after it emits an EMP blast that damages the other cars. Soon after he gets home, also inhabited by his overprotective parents and his dog Mojo, Sam puts Archibald's eyeglasses up for auction on eBay and takes the Camaro for a first drive, where it tries to help Sam woo Mikaela.

While a group of hackers at the Pentagon try to figure out the source of the attack, Frenzy infiltrates Air Force One in an attempt to hack into the military network and come across documents relating to Megatron's containment on Earth; he proceeds to upload a virus. However, he is halted by the Pentagon shutting down the entire network, though he makes out the name "Witwicky". Escaping into a nearby police car, Frenzy tracks down the name and comes across Sam's listing of the eyeglasses on eBay. That night, Sam's car drives off by itself, forcing Sam to chase after it. He sees the car taking on a completely new form shining a light to the sky - a signal for the Autobots to arrive. Sam is soon apprehended.

A group of soldiers patrolling a desert are ambushed by Scorponok; during this battle, the military discovers its only effective weapons against the Transformers' armor are high-heat sabot rounds. Pentagon technician Maggie Madsen goes to her friend Glen's house where they are able to decode the message. However, they are caught by the FBI. Meanwhile, Sam's Camaro chases him across town, where he is soon cornered by another police car. Seeing this, Mikaela also gives chase. The police car transforms into the Decepticon Barricade, who corners and interrogates him. However, the Camaro arrives to save Sam and Mikaela; soon, Bumblebee transforms into robot mode and engages Barricade in a one-on-one that Bumblebee wins. Meanwhile, Frenzy tries to capture Sam but fails. Bumblebee reveals his true form to the kids, then soon after upgrades his vehicle form to a 2006 Camaro Concept and rendezvous with the other Autobots—Optimus Prime, Jazz, Ironhide, and Ratchet—who have landed on Earth and taken the forms of Earth vehicles as well.

The still-frozen Megatron is moved into this facility and is reverse engineered to advance human technology.

In the present day, the Decepticons—Blackout, Scorponok, Frenzy, Barricade, Starscream, Brawl and Bonecrusher—have landed on Earth to find the AllSpark and assumed the disguise of Earth vehicles. Blackout and Scorponok attack the U.S. SOCCENT military base in Qatar and try to hack into the U.S. military network to find the location of Megatron and the AllSpark. Their mission is thwarted when the base's staff severs the network cable connections. While Blackout destroys the rest of the base, Scorponok chases a small group of survivors who have photographic evidence of the robots, but he is eventually repelled. Soon, a group of soldiers patrolling a desert are ambushed by Scorponok; during this battle, the military discovers its only effective weapons against the Transformers' armor are high-heat sabot rounds.

After the attack at the SOCCENT base, Frenzy infiltrates Air Force One in an attempt to hack into the military network, and in doing so plants a virus. He finds the map imprinted on Captain Witwicky's glasses, whose descendant, Sam Witwicky, intends to sell on eBay. Frenzy and Barricade begin tracking Sam's location. The Autonomous Robotic Organism (shortened to "Autobot") Bumblebee is also on Earth, disguised as a 1976 Chevrolet Camaro,[1] and is bought by Sam while shopping for his first car. Bumblebee helps him woo his crush, Mikaela Banes. Bumblebee leaves at night to transmit a homing signal to the rest of the Autobots and Sam sees him in robot mode. Barricade confronts Sam and demands Archibald's spectacles, but Bumblebee rescues him and Mikaela. After Bumblebee upgrades his vehicle form by scanning a 2006 Chevrolet Camaro, they leave to rendezvous with the rest of the Autobots: Optimus Prime, Jazz, Ironhide, and Ratchet—who have landed on Earth and taken the forms of Earth vehicles as well. Sam, Mikaela, and the Autobots return to Sam's home and obtain the glasses without trying to alert Sam's overprotective parents. Soon special agents from Sector Seven arrive and capture Sam, Mikaela, and Bumblebee.

Frenzy, disguised as Mikaela's mobile phone, secretly accompanies the group to Hoover Dam and releases Megatron from his frozen state. Locating the All Spark, Frenzy sends an alert to the other Decepticons. Agent Simmons shows everyone in the base that they have had precise contact with the "Transformers" and that the Decepticons have formed a conspiracy to free Megatron and eliminate humanity. Sam convinces Sector 7 to release Bumblebee so that he can get the All Spark to Optimus Prime. Meanwhile, Frenzy's virus has shut down government communications, but a pair of civilian hackers manage to establish a signal to the Air Force. In the ensuing attack, Frenzy is killed. The Autobot-human convoy goes to nearby Mission City to obtain a radio that will guide the Air Force's defense and secure a rendezvous point as a safe destination for the All Spark's retrieval. The Decepticons attack and Bonecrusher, Brawl, and Blackout are all killed during the ensuing battle, but Sam manages to ram the All Spark into Megatron's chest, killing Megatron and destroying the All Spark. Optimus takes a fragment of the All Spark from Megatron's corpse but realizes that with its destruction, their homeworld Cybertron cannot be restored. Consequently, Optimus sends a signal to other surviving Autobots in the universe, directing them to their new home, Earth. Sam and Mikaela begin a relationship. The Secretary of Defense and US government soon decommissions Sector 7 and has the corpses of the defeated Decepticons dumped into the Laurentian Abyss; however, Starscream, who survived the battle, escapes to outer space.

Lisa Loud's section in the main article[edit]

Lisa Loud[edit]

Lisa Loud (voiced by Lara Jill Miller,[3] portrayed by Lexi Janicek in A Loud House Christmas[4] and the upcoming live-action spinoff[5][6] ) is the 4-year-old (5-year-old season 5 onward) 10th child of the Loud family, and is named after one of Savino's five sisters.[7] Lisa is a gifted child prodigy who has a Ph.D. and is a Junior Nobel Prize recipient, but is currently in kindergarten by her own choice. Lisa enjoys solving complex equations, math problems, and performing elaborate experiments in which she often uses her unaware siblings and Clyde as test subjects. She wears glasses, an olive green turtleneck sweater, dark pink pants, and brown loafers. Her brown hair was revealed to be a wig in "Potty Mouth", having burnt it due to a botched nuclear experiment. Lisa often uses formal and detailed terms to refer to basic things before saying it in layman's terms. She often tends to be quite reckless and unethical with her experiments but is ultimately a good-hearted girl. A running gag is that Lisa's beakers filled with compound mixtures tend to explode, which occasionally mutate her body. She is also a fan of west coast rap music and is very good at breakdancing. Despite her intellect, Lisa struggles greatly with simple things such as arts and crafts because of her stubby fingers, and also struggles to form friendships with her peers. Some of Lisa's inventions include an assortment of robots, Gloweos (cookies infused with the bioluminescent DNA of the Aequorea victoria that make the consumer glow in the dark for a short time), a Urine Detector liquid that removes urine from bodies of water, Gravity Shoes that enable her to walk on the ceiling, a chocolate fountain that started out as a nuclear fusion device until she dropped her chocolate bar in it, a compatibility machine used to match up two people, robotic kangaroo legs to go with Lisa and Lily's shared kangaroo costume, overly effective lie-detecting cameras, a chemical analysis machine, and a hair-growth machine. Lisa attended Royal Woods Elementary School as a kindergartener for the first four seasons with her older siblings Lincoln, Lucy, Lana, and Lola, though in "Schooled!", Lisa begins first grade with her sisters Lucy, Lana, and Lola.

Criticism[edit]

RTX 4080 12 GB controversy[edit]

stuff goes here

RTX 4090 cable issues[edit]

The RTX 4090 ships with a 16-pin 12VHPWR power connector (which takes four eight-pin connectors and combines them into one for use with the RTX 4090's 16-pin connector) with a poor quality of construction, where bending the cable close to the connector breaks a solder contact.[8] This causes the cable to melt.[9] The issue was first reported on the Nvidia subreddit.[10] Soon afterward, reports of the power connector itself suffering from these issues surfaced.[11]

Reception[edit]

Need for Speed Unbound received "generally favorable" reviews on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, but the PC version received 'mixed or average" reviews.[12][13][14]

The 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual was an esports 24-hour automobile endurance race for Le Mans Prototype (LMP) and Le Mans Grand Touring Endurance (LMGTE) vehicles held on a simulated version of the Circuit de la Sarthe from 14 to 15 January 2023. It was hosted on the rFactor 2 gaming platform as the fifth and final race of the 2022–23 Le Mans Virtual Series.

Controversy[edit]

Stability issues were present throughout the race. An alleged security breach caused a red flag; multiple drivers also had their game crash. By lap 17, race leader Max Verstappen's game had crashed twice, causing him to retire. Questioning the stability of Motorsport Games' rFactor 2 platform, a frustrated Verstappen uninstalled the game and vowed not to never race at the event again.[16][17] This was not the first time Verstappen had faced issues with rFactor; during the 2020 round of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual, he voiced his frustrations with the platform.[18][19]

Race report[edit]

George Russell made a mistake with his start; he was not penalised. As the race began, Nico Hülkenberg made contact with Logan Sargeant, which granted the Haas driver a five-second penalty. Sergio Pérez made an early stop to swap to the hards. By lap 14, Carlos Sainz Jr. ran off the Nouvelle chicane, his front wing making contact with Esteban Ocon's right-rear. Sainz decided to continue on. Valtteri Bottas jumped Alexander Albon, with the latter granting himself a new set of hard tyres. His teammate Sargeant would follow, first on hards, and again on softs. By lap 30, Lewis Hamilton put on fresh hards and came out behind Russell.

By lap 20, Ferrari engineers told Sainz to come in to overtake Ocon, though he stayed out. The order was repeated six laps later. Sainz eventually boxed by lap 33 with new mediums, rejoining in seventh and behind Ocon. On team radio, Sainz was frustrated with the strategy. Soon, Pérez came in with new mediums and a new front wing, coming out in last. Lance Stroll reported damage during lap 38, having made contact with Kevin Magnussen. Charles Leclerc went in for fresh mediums, dropping him to eighth; Pierre Gasly failed to overcut Leclerc with new fresh mediums. Lando Norris came in for hards, dropping him a position lower.

A threat of rain was reported during the race; Russell reported drops by turn 3. The first two drivers to switch to intermediates were Stroll and Bottas; soon Zhou Guanyu and Albon followed. While everyone else went for intermediate tyres, Fernando Alonso decided to use medium tyres; he switched to inters the following lap, with Ferrari deciding to double stack. Sainz spun twice, though did not hit the barriers at high speeds. Stroll, however, recieved damage to his car following his front wing lodging itself underneath his front wheels. Max Verstappen grazed the wall at Portier while on mediums, but saved the car from retirement. Magnussen took full wets, having had hards as the rain began; Pérez would utilise the compound later on. However, Magnussen crashed out with damage to his front wing. His mechanics, unprepared for such a change, had to prepare it on the spot. Meanwhile, Sargeant hit the wall at the hairpin, though he recovered the car. Magnussen would go off on turn one, and Stroll went into an escape road at turn five; Russell followed Stroll into the escape road, only to be hit by Pérez. Meanwhile, Hülkenberg was given a 10 second penalty for serving the first one incorrectly. Gasly was shown a black and white flag for exceeding track limits, and Pérez swapped to inters.

The running order on the top three did not change throughout the race. Verstappen's victory marks his second Monaco Grand Prix victory. Ocon finished third and was awarded driver of the day; the first time a French driver was on the podium in Monaco since Olivier Panis in 1996, and his first podium since the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix (also his first win). Hamilton took the fastest lap.[20][21]

This is Sergio Pérez's 250th Grand Prix start.
