Margaret Erskine of Dun[edit]

Born in 1772, daughter of John Erskine and Mary Baird^[1]. She married Archibald Kennedy 1st Marquess of Ailsa Order of the Thistle, Royal Society on 1 June 1793. Margaret inherited the House of Dun, a Georgian house, in 1824.

Margaret Erskine of Dun^[4] is the title given to the painting by William Owen which can be found on the first floor of Culzean Castle.
