Edgar Sulit San Luis (born 12 July 1955) also known as Egay San Luis or Kuya Egay San Luis, and by the initial ESL, is a Filipino businessman abd politician who currently serving as Mayor of Santa Cruz since June 30, 2019.
Early life[edit]
Edgar Sulit San Luis born on July 12, 1955 in Santa Cruz, Laguna. His father was Felicisimo San Luis (1919–1992) a Attorney, and his mother is Virginia Sulit–San Luis (died 1963) a Educator. San Luis has six siblings: Rodolfo, Mila, Linda, Emilita, Manuel and Tobias[a].
San Luis father was Governor of Laguna from 1959 until his death on 1992. San Luis brother Rodolfo became also Mayor of Santa Cruz from 1992 until 1995 then later became also Member of the Philippine House of Representatives from Laguna's 4th District from 1998 until 2004.
