Carlota Boza Mendo (Boadilla del Monte, Madrid, May 16 of 2001) is an actress Spanish and sister of the actor Fernando Boza Mendo. She is mainly known for the role of Carlota Rivas, la minicuqui, in the series La que se avecina.[2]

Biography[edit]

Carlota, first daughter of Fernando Jesús Boza González and Eva María Mendo Domínguez, and sister of the child actor Fernando Boza began in the world of advertising in 2005 when she was just 4 years old, appearing in advertising brochures of department stores such as Carrefour or shooting commercials for television such as the one for the dolls Tinukis.

In 2006, she appeared at the castings of the series La que se avecina on Telecinco, where she was selected along with her brother Fernando de ella to play the role of the sons of « The Cuquis”. The series aired its pilot episode in April 2007 and since then they have already shot ten seasons. In the seventh season Carlota was absent during the first 11 episodes due to school reasons.[3] Was incorporated in chapter 7x12; in the eighth season she participated in 4 episodes and in the ninth, another 9.

Thanks to an interview with Carlota, we learned that she is studying Animation at the U-tad, in Las Rozas (Madrid). "It has the part that is more cinema and then the animation part, which is like Disney-Pixar. I do everything from 3D to painting. I like cinema in all its aspects, I would also like to write and direct," he said. her in the interview.

In 2009, she participated with her own mother, Eva Mendo, and the actor Fernando Guillén-Cuervo in the short film Clairvoyance.

In 2010, she participated in the series for Internet Desamaos. That same year, she played the role of a little Eugenia Martínez de Irujo in the second part of La Duchess, a Telecinco telefilm about the life of the Duchess of Italy.

In 2011, she took part in the 19th chapter of the second season of the Spanish Television TVE series The mysteries of Laura.

In 2012, she recorded a short called The accident.

In 2013, she recorded a short called ¡Bingo !, with which she was a finalist to win the award for best actress.

Meanwhile, the young actress continues with her role in La que se avecina, along with her own brother Fernando Boza.[4]

For the fifth consecutive year, she was also in La Noche en Paz, from Telecinco, a gala that she recorded between December 28 and 2, 2016; and from December 6 to 9, 2016.

On January 5, 2017, she participated for the first time as co-host of the gala Kings and stars of La 1, a gala that she recorded between December 12 and 16, 2016.
