The Price and Kensington Teapot Works are sited in Longport, Staffordshire.

On HE buildings at risk register since 1998. A number of brick-built warehouses, workshops and alrge bottle over survive but are in poor condition. Built early 19th-century. A range of canalside buildings were demolished in 2019 due to risk of collapse. Site has attracted fly tipping and been attacked by vandals and arsonists. Since 2015 Stoke City COuncil have attempted to enforce an improvement notice against the owner Charles Lewis & Coo. The firm was fine £1,000 plus £100 victim surcharge and £530 costs in 2019 by a magistrates court. In October 2021 the firm ws fiend £72,000 for continued neglect. Worksa re grade II* listed. Local MP Jonathan Gullis tried introduced the Planning (Proper Maintenance of Land) Bill after the first fine to increase the level of fines that courts could impose for neglect, did not progress beyond second reading. Estimated will cost £5 million to repair the works.[1]
