Hello, my name is Owen H, I am a senior at Croatan High school and a pupil in Mr. Butler's AP Bio class. I am very excited to participate in this project because I have always had an interest in biology and medicine. This is due to the fact that at age four I was diagnosed with the very rare inherited disease Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type IIa (MEN IIa), or quite simply Sipples syndrome. I will save the more technical aspects for my article (hopefully).

Here are a few things about me: I live on an island. I am a huge UNC fan and plan to one day attend there. I am the senior class Vice President. I like to play soccer. And of course, I am infatuated with the world of politics and plan to one day become a politician.
