The Vietnamese intervened in many conflicts all around the world as it's Presidential Command was pressured by the International community to intervene in conflicts. The Vietnamese Army intervened in Southeast Asia.
1968[edit]
In October of 1968 the Nationalists and the Militarists split from the Presidential Command and launched a coup in 1968 resulting in the creation of an militarist government in Vietnam. In November the Hue High Command declared a full militarist takeover on the government and all buildings under the authority of the President were burnt and demolished. And then the Presidential Command Decree No. 256 was signed by the newly declared President: Ngu Phan Outang in the 7th of November. Ngu launched a crackdown on all enemies and opponents of the state killing around 35,000 people in Hue.
