My career has been in electronic engineering, mainly R&D, including TV cameras and studio equipment, CATV and MATV, Radar and EW , system design.

I keep fit by swimming, Pilates and brisk walks.

My hobbies include Playing Bridge (at clubs and social), attending courses on Archaeology and History, theatre-going and music concerts, a model railway (for the grandchildren - of course!)

I have recently started writing for Wiki and have several topics in mind (at Jan 2015).
