User:CoronalMassAffection

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello. I am here to improve the solar and plasma physics articles. I occasionally contribute to articles relating to other subjects.

My real name is Trestan, and I use he/him pronouns. I have been editing solar and plasma physics articles since I was a 15-year-old high school student. I am now an undergraduate at the University of Colorado Boulder and a researcher assistant at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. My activity here and on other Wikimedia sites is not supported by these institutions, and all of my contributions are made of my own accord.

My username is the term coronal mass ejection with ejection swapped for the rhyming word affection and the spaces omitted. (It is unrelated to the media franchise with the homophonic title Mass Effect.)

To do[edit]

My primary goal for 2024 is to improve the following vital Sun-related articles. I hope to get them to WP:FA quality as a personal goal for NASA's Heliophysics Big Year. I intend to begin making progress in the summer.

  1. Solar flare
  2. Solar wind
  3. Coronal mass ejection
  4. Sunspot
  5. Solar storm
  6. Solar prominence

I also spend time working on the following tasks (organized by subject but listed in no particular order).

Sun related
Plasma related
