Dave Robertson, is a creative visionary dedicated to enhancing people’s lives through improved health. His passion is rooted in a 20-year career in the healthcare industry that includes the creation and operation of successful businesses focused on patient safety, medical device delivery and wound care. Robertson is also and Entrepreneur, in the Sustainable Living sector. He is on the advisory board of the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at University of Southern California, USC Marshall School of Business.

Biography Robertson began his career with Miteck Surgical in 1992, selling artificial knees, hips, and other implants to surgeons. This early experience sparked his interest in reducing the cost of devices without impacting quality or patient service. Robertson founded Dynamic Medical Systems[1] in 1995 to pursue this objective. His clear vision and innovative education and sales techniques drove Dynamic Medical Systems to consistently perform ahead of projections and lowered delivery costs on healthcare equipment in the wound management and safe patient handling [2] categories.

In 2000, Robertson co-founded Interactive Medical Systems a company focused on streamlining the delivery of oxygen, repiratory and other hospital equipment. Robertson continues at the helm of Interactive Medical Systems, whose clients are located throughout the western United States.

Robertson is also the CEO of Robertson Holding, LLC, a real estate investment company developing and renting commercial, industrial and residential properties.

Robertson’s career successes include 26 different business ventures that have paved the way for his most ambitious project to date: the creation of the Centrally Grown[4] brand, based on the Central Coast (California). Centrally Grown offers a platform for creating sustainable lifestyle options in food, education, packaging, clothing, building materials and outdoor activities. The brand embraces Robertson’s fundamental healthy lifestyle philosophies, fosted by years of healthcare experience and a deep personal respect for the environment. He is committed to creating transformative, healthy experiences for individuals and communities, inspired by nature, rooted in history, cultivated by curiosity and advanced by simplicity.

Centrally Grown will initially focus on reducing waste associated with food production, processing, packaging, transport and consumption; reducing chemicals in food, body and land and creating a smaller environmental footprint and a healthier community. All products developed by Centrally Grown will be locally sourced from sustainable production and will reflect impeccable quality.

Robertson will launch Centrally Grown on a 3+ acre site located on scenic California Coast Highway 1, between the artist haven-town of Cambria, California and Hearst Castle State Monument in San Simeon. The new home of Centrally Grown is the former Hamlet restaurant and gardens, a popular local landmark that had fallen into financial difficulties in the last decade. Robertson will revitalize the site and build on its rich tradition as he showcases Centrally Grown products with a healthy bistro, flatbed produce market, working gardens and small mercantil along with creating a venue for local entertainers and artists.

Within the next two years, Robertson plans to launch a hospital food business focused on delivering healthy food in sustainable packaging to patients. He will continue to educate consumers and seek out new ventures to improve health and promote sustainability.

Robertson has been recognized for his entrepreneurial talents and game-changing strategies. Honors include acceptance in 2008 into the Birthing of Giants an entrepreneurial program sponsored by MIT Enterprise Forum, Inc. magazine and the Young Entrepreneurs Organization. He has served on the board of directors for both the Young Presidents' Organization and Young Entrepreneurs' Organization and is an active participant with TAHF nursing homes. In April 2012, he jointed the advistory board for the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies[5] at the USC Marshall School of Business.

Robertson has raised more than $150,000 for a Los Angeles-area playground and supports an entrepreneurial think-tank. And while he continues to launch diversified business ventures, Robertson identifies a strong family life, with his wife and three children as his greatest success.

Robertson receivede a bachelor’s degree in business administration from both the University of Arizona and the University of Southern California (USC) Business Entrepreneur Program.
