I am Arthur, I live in Glasgow. I don't edit much on Wikipedia but I have been reading Wikipedia for a very long time.

My username comes from the Grand Theft Auto V character Chop, he is the best dog.

Glasgow[edit]

The RMS Queen Mary was built in Glasgow[1]

I was Born and raised in and around the area of Glasgow, Scotland. Glasgow was once one of the most significant cities in the UK for manufacturing, which generated a great deal of the city's wealth; the most prominent industry being shipbuilding based on the River Clyde.[2] Glasgow is known for its tenements; the red and blond sandstone buildings are some of the most recognisable features of the city.[3] These were the most popular form of housing in 19th- and 20th-century Glasgow, and remain the most common form of dwelling in Glasgow today. Tenements are commonly bought by a wide range of social types and are favoured for their large rooms, high ceilings and original period features. I used to live in a Glasgow Tenement.

Chop[edit]

Chop is a large Rottweiler dog that appears in Grand Theft Auto V, serving as the tritagonist to Franklin Clinton. He is owned by Lamar Davis but lives with Franklin for a majority of the storyline, and later appears as a main character in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Contract update.[4]

In Grand Theft Auto Online, the player could transform into Chop after consuming a peyote plant in the backyard of Clinton Residence during the Halloween Surprise 2019 event and from April 6 to April 13 in 2020[5].

Franklin can engage in several activities with Chop, including walking him and playing fetch with a ball .His behaviour can be controlled with the iFruit App. If his happiness is low, he'll be upset and won't perform any tricks. If his happiness is high, he'll behave well. When Franklin approaches him, he'll bark because he wants attention.[6]

A Rottweiler dog, the same breed as Chop[7]

If the player chooses to take Chop for a walk and gets into a car, Chop will get in the passenger seat of the car. Be aware that if the player has Chop with them and calls somebody on your phone to hang out, once they reach their location, Chop will get out of the car and run home while the friend gets into the front seat. For some reason, Chop will not ride in the back seat of any car and will not ride in the back of a van as he is shown doing in certain missions. He also ignores other vehicles (aerial or aquatic), although in a mission he can be seen aboard Trevor's Frogger.[8]

Rottweilers[edit]

Rottweilers are by far my favourite dog breed, The dogs were known in German as Rottweiler Metzgerhund, meaning Rottweil butchers' dogs[9]. Although still used to herd stock in many parts of the world, Rottweilers are now also used as search and rescue dogs, guard dogs, and police dogs[10]. Rottweilers are a powerful breed with well-developed genetic herding and guarding instincts. Potentially dangerous behaviour in Rottweilers usually results from irresponsible ownership, abuse, neglect, or lack of socialisation and training. However, the exceptional strength of the Rottweiler is an additional risk factor not to be neglected.

In an event widely reported by the media, a two-year-old UK Rottweiler named Jake owned by Liz Maxted-Bluck was recognised for his bravery by the RSPCA. The dog was out walking with his owner when they heard screams. Jake chased off a man as he molested a woman on Hearsall Common, Coventry, in July 2009. He located the attacker and his victim in thick scrub, chased off the attacker, led his owner to the scene, then stood guard over the victim until the police arrived. The attacker was convicted of serious sexual assault and jailed for four years. Jake was nominated by police for the bravery award and medallion after the incident. Det. Con Clive Leftwich, from the Coventry police station, said: "From our point of view Jake the Rottweiler stopped a serious sexual assault from becoming even worse."[11]
