The Spiral State of Homer & Simpson, commonly & previously officially known as the The Spiral, is a country located in the Spiral Galaxy. It consists of multiple connected planets, including Simpson City (Formerly Wizard City), Springfield: REBORN (Formerly Marleybone) and more, the Earth including the former United States, which mainland has been carved out of Earth to become the new capitol of The Spiral.

The Spiral is an Empire ruled by the Simpson Dynasty, after the Homer Liberation Army conquered The Spiral. The current Emperor (officially: Grand Emperor of The Spiral) is Homer Simpson, and has been ever since the country was conquered.

The Spiral, due in large part to having many planets, is a very diverse country with many different species and races. However, under Article 9 of the Homertution (Spiral Constitution) the only recognized species/races are Human, Anthro, and Homersapien. Only Homersapiens are allowed to participate in governmental jobs as stated in Article 23 of the Homertution.

There are currently two planets in the Spiral Galaxy uncontrolled by the Spiral government, being the Clown World and the President World. This is due to heavy resistance, and a military separate from The Spiral in the two planets. The Clown World is current a Clownservative Republic, headed by President Krusty. The Clown World is an Ethno State with Clowns being 90% of the population. The other 10% are military refugees from the Old Spiral Government headed by Chiang Kai-shek and Merle Ambrose. The President World is a Military Junta Isolationist government, with Abraham Lincoln and Benito Mussolini being the Head of State and General of the Armies.
