Biography[edit]

Gailan Ngan is a ceramic artist based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In 2002, she graduated with a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. In 1997, she founded her studio, Conershop. Ngan lives and works in Vancouver.

Her works have been exhibited at the Apartment, Art Los Angeles Contemporary, Centre A International Centre for Contemporary Asian Art, Western Front, and the Museum of Anthropology.

Ngan's work is focused on the form and surface of ceramics, with interest in glazes.[1]
