My initial education was as a graduate science teacher; That gave me a good ability in computer science.
subsequently I have studied Lingusitics in Chennai University, India for post-graudate qualification.
I find Wiki work interesting as an outlet for my historical and lingustic interests. I am proficient in several South Indic, Sri Lankan and West European languages. But I am ignorant of Chinese, Japanese, east European and Russian families of languages. I have lived in Sri Lanka, Canada and India, and shift among them quite a bit. Unforunately, I have to find time from professional life for Wiki activities. So, although I have been a Wiki editor in English, sometimes in French etc., for some time now, I hadn't even taken the time to create a user page, as that seemed to be irrelevant.
