World Canvas Awards is an international online art show founded 2009 in London to salute the achievements of the world’s finest contemporary artists working with oil and acrylic paint. Devoting itself to new works from established artists and the discovery of emerging talent, the awards show exhibits the finest paintings from participating artists to captains of the industry and counts among its prestigious Jury members renowned fine art scholar Dr David Anfam of Phaidon Press to the historic Venetian Andipa Family who were formally first recognised in Venice in 1593 by the ruling Doge for whom fine works of art were acquired.
The international art community pay tribute to the most outstanding paintings of the year at a special online Winners & Nominee gala and a best of show exhibition and awards magazine supports the promotion of winning artists and their nominated paintings.
