I am Andecombogios (Gaul.: 'great-with-belly')

I was born in Cymru, but have been estranged from home for some time. I like collecting languages and cultures for my internal database, as humans are fascinating creatures, however I am unusual in that I do not care to do this with anything less than viewing them through their own lens, ie subjectively from the point of the subject rather than attempting objectivity or subjectively from my internal perspective. I feel that this is a perspective that better lends itself to understanding humans and interpreting their actions and intentions rather than attempting some academic dissociation or trying to fit them into the paradigms created by a different culture which lack proper expressiveness in the subject culture. If one more person attempts to tell me that such-and-such mythological figure represents 'fertility', I shall slap them for their lack of creativity, and fundamental banality.

My primary interests lie in the area of the chemical sciences, ancient and modern Indo-European languages (with some limited experience in Uralic and Afro-Asiatic), principally the Celtic languages, ancient and modern polytheistic religions, anthropology, linguistics, ancient and modern metalworking, history, political philosophy, and historical geopolitics. I also have opinions on these subjects. You have been forewarned. Any attempted discussions of post-1900 politics will be swiftly shut down as I am disinterested in the political propaganda all such discussions inevitably fall into.

I am able to read and communicate myself adequately in English, castellano, Cymraeg, Ἑλληνική παλαί, русский язык, lingua latina, and Gaeilge, in ascending order of difficulty for me. Please leave a message in the talk section in any of the above languages if communication with myself is desired. Messages left in other languages will be badly translated and responded to in English.
