I have been on Wikipedia since 2006(?), albeit back in the day I was far more active as a 16-year old vandal than a genuine contributor.

Eventually stopped vandalizing and tried to genuinely contribute to discussions regarding the naming of articles where I felt that in trying to adhere to NPOV, the renaming of the article was actually introducing an element of bias. Over the years, I've been far more a reader of Wikipedia than a contributor, and as much as I appreciate the unpaid time and effort editors put into this site, this matter of renaming articles has consistently annoyed me the entire time. I've sparingly contributed to different Talk pages over the years and never really understood the rationale. I wonder what exactly the Watergate scandal would be called had this site been around in '74.
