Parameter names[edit]

I don't think it's a terribly good idea to have spaces in parameter names. I'm somewhat amazed it works! I'd have opted for shorter parameter names too; that's one thing that's bad about the generally pretty excellent {{WPBiography}} :)

Anyrode, I'm about to get my bot to work migrating WP:CCM to here. --kingboyk (talk) 23:48, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NA Class[edit]

I'm afraid I don't understand templates well enough to fix this, but the NA class parameter is not working correctly. It leaves the page in Category:Unassessed-Class Christian music articles and does not add it to Category:Non-article Christian music pages as it should. -- PEPSI2786talk 01:10, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I made the template adjustment. I should start operating now and populating Category:Non-article Christian music pages. I will check it tomorrow to make sure its working. Absolon S. Kent (talk) 03:28, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Quick update.. it's still not working. -- PEPSI2786talk 09:49, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm still trying to find out why it's not working. I was able to fix the other work group categorization problem so now articles are placed in the appropriate work group categories, but the non-articles are still moving to unassessed instead of non-article. It may be a funtion of the asssessment bot, but I'm not sure. I'll keep trying to work on it. --Absolon S. Kent (talk) 11:28, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think it's the bot. The template automatically puts it into the category, without the bot doing anything. Or, it does with everything other than the Non-Article category. Wish I knew enough to do something to help. -- PEPSI2786talk 11:32, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed it as of 23 January 2008. Absolon S. Kent (talk) 01:36, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Template broken[edit]

Currently, this template adds superfluous brackets }} to the talk pages where it is used. In some cases, it also adds parts of the page title before that. BNutzer (talk) 14:47, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed it. Thanks for the heads up. Absolon S. Kent (talk) 17:54, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly confusing template name?[edit]

Hey folks, I'm wondering whether this is a bit of a confusing template name? There is another template called {{Christian music}} which does something completely different. - Tbsdy lives (talk) 08:54, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The other template was created first as a genre box in the Contemporary Christian WikiProject. When that project was merged into the new WikiProject that template was left behind. -- Absolon S. Kent (talk) 17:42, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Is it used anymore? - Tbsdy lives (talk) 00:54, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New version of template[edit]

There is an updated template at Template:Christianmusic/sandbox which uses WPBannerMeta. Any objections to using it? -- WOSlinker (talk) 14:54, 17 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Living category[edit]

There is a discussion at Cfd about deleting the category Category:Living performers of Christian music, which is added automatically by this template if the parameter |blp= is set to yes. Note that disabeling the category will not remove the {{Blp}} template that is also added when this parameter is set to yes. Debresser (talk) 17:48, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
