Separate the State Council elections from the elections after the merger with Indian[edit]
@Number 57: I think we should separate the State Council elections (1953 to 1974) from the Legislative Assembly elections (1979 onwards). Although there was continuity (i.e. the members of the State Council in 1975 were automatically deemed to be the new legislative assembly), i think that they should be shown separately (i.e. different template group). The first group of election was within the Kingdom of Sikkim. The second is for Sikkim, a state in India. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 09:52, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's best for them to stay on the same line – they are legislative elections all through the series. Cheers, Number57 23:44, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
