Template name - suggest renaming for accuracy and clarity[edit]
Related to a point I have raised at Template talk:Scottish Premiership top scorers about this templates top tier equivalent, I think the name of the template is an issue. Would it not be better to rename the template Template:Scottish League second tier top scorers? Not only would this fit in with its current title, but it would more accurately and clearly describe the template which covers the top scorers in the second highest league division in Scotland throughout history rather than just in the Championship era, especially as the term Championship for this tier was introduced less than a decade ago. Indeed, historically people talked about the winners of the Scottish League as being winners of the Championship, so as it stands someone might assume that this was a list of the top goal scorer(s) for the teams that were league champions of Scotland in the year shown. Even something like Template:Scottish League tier two top scorers might be a better option. Dunarc (talk) 23:43, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
