Intended usage[edit]

This template is clearly meant for redirects like and Æolus to their ASCII-only equivalents Eth and Aeolus. Is it also meant for redirects like Großdeutsche Volkspartei and Γ Orionis whose targets (Greater German People's Party and Bellatrix) happen to be ASCII-only but which are not ASCIIfied versions of the redirects? Gorobay (talk) 15:17, 25 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

To editor Gorobay: Both the wording of this rcat and a browse through the category entries seems to allow any non-ASCII redirect to an ASCII-only title that is correctly associated with it, even if not a direct ASCIIfied version.  Paine Ellsworth  put'r there  19:55, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
