Current wording[edit]

Template now says only "... this page needs to be continually checked ...". Dangerous precedent! Well, up to this time, every freakin Wikipedia article needed to be continually checked, and was (more or less) continually checked. Current usage/wording of this template plainly violates WP:SELF. A perfectly sourced neologism article will be infinitely tagged. Then somebody will create another tag for X pages, for Y pages, and next thing you know Wikipedia will become unusable. This template should simply say "This new term does not belong in Wikipedia, as there are insufficient reliable sources about it". Too bad articles were mass-tagged... But this wording will at least suggest other editors that they can, and should, untag after fixing problems. Thoughts? --Kubanczyk (talk) 08:49, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
