Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because there is enough articles to suffice navigation, plus it will only expand at this point. Nice4What (talk · contribs) – (Don't forget to share a Thanks ) 11:42, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It was recently deleted by means of a TFD discussion, which deemed there were not enough articles to warrant a navbox. The rule of thumb is often around 5 articles per WP:NENAN. It seems the artist in question has recently released an EP, and there is now an article for a non-single song from that EP, which is of dubious notability. --woodensuperman 11:59, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The article for the non-single exists and still counts. woodensuper's personal opinion that the article shouldn’t exist does not equate to consensus. Speedy should be declined.—NØ 13:21, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Like I said, the very recent discussion was based on WP:NENAN, which calls for five articles as a rule of thumb. To re-create this such a short time afterwards, without it meeting this threshold, means that the decision at TFD has not been respected. --woodensuperman 13:28, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
You’re misrepresenting, though. Five articles are included on the template currently. It’s you who thinks one of them shouldn’t exist, which does not equate to a consensus and thus there’s no grounds for speedy deletion of this template. "Rodeo" is bound to chart and become notable in less than a week as it’s charting at #14 on iTunes and #7 on Spotify. So this template is here to stay whether you personally agree or not.—NØ 13:33, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Four entries, excluding the subject. All already well linked, as they are all tracks from a single EP. --woodensuperman 13:37, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. It’s very likely that more than one EP track ends up charting though. So your dedication to keep this template deleted feels like a useless time sink. There’s barely a difference between 4 entries or 5.—NØ 14:16, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
