New Norfolk is not a suburb of Hobart it is a locality in South East Tasmania. It is a fair way out of Hobart and shouldn't be included in this template. Kyle sb 13:00, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So what about people who are not from Hobart? they would not know the difference when searching through wikipedia, If they want to find Abbotsfield, Tasmania, but dont know it lies under the Claremont, Tasmania page? Abbotsfield, Tasmania redirects to Claremont, Tasmania, and the same for all the other "non-suburbs", so anyone searching for it will find the information. I didn't include them in the navbox because there are a huge about of links in there already - And, more importantly, because they are not suburbs! -- Chuq 08:38, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You think Dowsing Point is a suburb but not Abbotsfield, why is that? there are houses in Abbotsfield and only an industrial estate at Dowsing Point. You really should get your facts right before making such statements.

Suburb names in italics[edit]

Heya all,
Cascades, Cornelian Bay, Abbotsfield, Springfield, Flagstaff Gully and Firthside are in italics in this template. As far as I can see, there has been no indication why this is so, apart from the discussion here. I'm boldly removing the apparently random formatting.

"Glebe Hill, Tasmania"[edit]

Hi all. I was thinking of adding this a WP:REDIRECT to Howrah, Tasmania, with the same rationale as the redirects for Lower Sandy Bay, Tasmania, Elwick, Tasmania and so on. On looking into things further, it does not seem to be a locality within the suburb, but simply a commercial description of a housing subdivision in Howrah. Boldly removed from template. Should you wish to WP:TROUT me about this, I would request that you use a species mentioned in Gould's Book of Fish. Hoping she'll be apples, ken oath, cobbers, The Moonah Hooner!
