Merge?[edit]

I proposed that Template:Footer Olympic Champions 3000 m Women be merged here because the 5000 m superceded the 3000 m. It's done this way at Template:Footer Olympic Champions 100 m hurdles Women, since the 100 m hurdles superceded the 80 m hurdles. Punkmorten 17:42, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Makes sense to me. The latter discipline is a "replacement" for the first: they never existed simultaneously, and the old one is not coming back. GregorB 18:01, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
