This template was considered for merging with Template:Note2 on July 20, 2020. The result of the discussion was merge.

Template:A note is permanently protected from editing because it is a heavily used or highly visible template. Substantial changes should first be proposed and discussed here on this page. If the proposal is uncontroversial or has been discussed and is supported by consensus, editors may use {{edit template-protected}} to notify an administrator or template editor to make the requested edit. Usually, any contributor may edit the template's documentation to add usage notes or categories.

Any contributor may edit the template's sandbox. This template does not have a testcases subpage. You can create the testcases subpage here.

Icon size[edit]

Moved from Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Holding cell

What size are we going for with this? The only mention of size in the TfD was to standardise across the category, but icons in the category use a mixture of 16, 18 and 20 px. The former is 16px and the latter is 20px. imo the 16px of the former looks best in context. ProcrastinatingReader (talk) 18:14, 27 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@ProcrastinatingReader: I have completed the merge except for the matter of the icon size, and moved the discussion here. @LaundryPizza03, Pigsonthewing, Scott, ToBeFree, Prahlad balaji, Ivanvector, Trialpears, and DannyS712: notifying you all as participants in the discussion at Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2020 July 20#Template:A note.
