Executive/Legislative
[edit]I've moved the Leader of the Opposition and the Shadow Portfolios to "legislative", as they're not part of the executive government, they're traditional positions within the legislature. If anyone feels I'm wrong please explain why here after reverting. - DustFormsWords (talk) 22:19, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
High Court
[edit]I am wondering why a link to the High Court of Australia is included in this template, and in most (but not all) of its interstate equivalent templates. The High Court is not a state court. It is a Federal Supreme Court established under the federal constitution, and is funded and administered solely by the federal government. It is true that it is possible to appeal from the Supreme Court to the High Court, but it is also possible, in more limited circumstances, to appeal from a state court to the Federal Court or the Family Court. I would therefore suggest that the link to the High Court be removed from this template. Bahnfrend (talk) 16:32, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
