Usage[edit]

The {{WikiProject Chenab Valley}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

General parameters:

orphan – "yes" if the article is not currently supported by an Indian WikiProject.
needs-infobox – "yes" if the article lacks an infobox, otherwise remove this line.
auto – "yes" This parameter is for bot-use.
map-needed – "yes" if the article needs a map, otherwise remove this line. It adds articles to Category:Wikipedia requested maps in Chenab Valley.
image-needed – "yes" if the article needs pictures, otherwise remove this line. It adds articles to Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Chenab Valley. The template automatically categorizes the articles into "Wikipedia requested photographs in" location categories based on taskforce parameters. For example, if kishtwar=yes and image-needed=yes, will place the article talk page into Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Kishtwar, similarly Doda district into Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Doda district and Ramban district into Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Ramban district.
assess-date - Date last assessed. Example: assess-date={{subst:CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{subst:CURRENTYEAR}}
reassess – set |reassess=yes if the article needs reassessment of its current rating.
- This parameter populates Category:India articles needing reassessment.
attention – "yes" if the article requires immediate attention; this should be used sparingly.
