Template:Max title/doc

This template is used to generate an external link to a web page at HBO Max.

Note: This template should only be added to programming original to HBO Max.

Usage

Unnamed parameters:

• {{Max title | ID }}
• {{Max title | ID | TITLE }}

Named parameters:

• {{Max title | id= ID }}
• {{Max title | id= ID | title= TITLE }}

Using Wikidata property HBO Max ID (P8298):

• {{Max title}}
• {{Max title | title = TITLE }}

Instructions

1. Go to play.hbomax.com and search for the title you want.
2. Click on the thumbnail for the title.
3. The page URL should look like this:

   https://play.hbomax.com/series/urn:hbo:series:XXXXX...

   or

   https://play.hbomax.com/feature/urn:hbo:feature:XXXXX...

4. Copy the text that appears after https://play.hbomax.com/ in the URL.
5. Add one of the following to the external links section of the article:

   {{HBO Max title | XXXXX... }}

   {{HBO Max title | XXXXX... | Title Name }}

   {{HBO Max title | id= XXXXX... }}

   {{HBO Max title | id= XXXXX... | title= Title Name }}

   ----- is the text you've copied and Title Name is the title of the movie or show.

Note: This is a list item in the external links section so you should add a "*" in front of the template.

1. Go to hbomax.com and search for Doom Patrol.
2. Click on the link for Doom Patrol. The link's URL is:

   https://play.hbomax.com/series/urn:hbo:series:GXnAu5AZC5MNVoAEAABvO

3. Copy series/urn:hbo:series:GXnAu5AZC5MNVoAEAABvO and add it to the template.
