How to start a review of a good article nomination
A review of a good article nomination is stored on a subpage of the article talk page. The first job of the reviewer is to create such a subpage, and that is the purpose of the edit box below.
Add a brief comment below stating that you are planning to review this article, then sign it. If you have a preliminary review, you may paste it in. If you wish, you may add one of these templates to this review page. Then save this page. A bot will change the good article nominations page to indicate that you are reviewing this article.
The review may be continued later by editing this page.
All good articles must meet the good article criteria. For more information about nominating and reviewing, please read the instructions. You may also read Wikipedia:Reviewing good articles for advice. You can ask questions or seek help at the good article nominations talk page.

Usage[edit]

This template is loaded into an edit window when a GAN reviewer starts a review.
GAN/AH[edit]
This purpose of this template is to help editors add {{Article history}} actions to record the outcome of a good article nomination for articles with a pre-existing Article history. Remove the {{GA nominee}} template and substitute this one into the {{Article history}} template. Please only do this if you are confident with using Article history, and check for the red error category afterwards. The syntax is:{{subst:GAN/AH|action number|result=result|page=talk subpage number}} If the action number is omitted, it is assumed to be 1. If the page is omitted, it is assumed to be 1.
