Varietease[edit]

  •  In progress Anne (talk) 19:37, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Date and length OK. Reliable sources. Hook correctly formatted and cited. Photo in article fair use. Article apparently a candidate for deletion. I don't think that it should be deleted. Anne (talk) 20:32, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
  • While an article is under AfD it cannot be approved, even if it passes all the other criteria. It has to wait until the AfD has concluded for that approval to be bestowed, assuming it still exists (which indeed seems very likely in this case). BlueMoonset (talk) 03:06, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
  • I knew the DYK approval would have to wait for the AFD closure, and simply wanted to get this in the loop. Thanks all. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 07:30, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Absolutely! It's crucial to get the nomination submitted within five days of creation/expansion. After that, though, nothing can be approved until the AfD has concluded, even if it requires multiple relistings before a decision is arrived at. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:30, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Reinstating Anne's approval now that AfD has ended and the article has been retained. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:26, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
