Valentin Wolfenstein[edit]

Valentin Wolfenstein (circa 1880)

  • New enough, long enough, well sourced (although I have to take the book sources on good faith; Google books won't preview those pages for me), QPQ done. The primary hook appears to be both incorrect (the article says he was an employee of Jaeger, not an employer of him) and boring, and ALT1 is awkwardly worded with many qualifiers. So my preference would be to go with ALT2, which also has the advantage of being from a more easily verifiable online source. Additionally, I am unsure about the usability of the image. It claims to be an expired copyright (life of the author + 70 years) but we don't know who the author is and it is not out of the question that someone who shot the photo in 1880 could have lived until 1944. —David Eppstein (talk) 23:27, 16 August 2014 (UTC)
