United States Post Office (Canandaigua, New York)[edit]
- ... that, in 1906, local philanthropist Mary Clark Thompson not only donated the land for a new post office (pictured) in Canandaigua, New York, she commissioned Allen & Collens to design it as well?
- ALT1:... that the former Canandaigua, New York, post office (pictured) is one of only three in the state designed by private architects under the Tarsney Act, and the only one outside of New York City?
- ALT2:... that the Canandaigua, New York, YMCA, which once briefly housed the city's post office, has since moved into the old post office building (pictured)?

The hook ref is not cited inline for the original hook, but is verified and cited inline for ALTs 1 and 2. Personally, I think ALT2 is snappier and hookiest.
