  • It has been pointed out in WT:DYK#Billy Hathorn that Billy was banned from DYK in August 2011. The language specifically said: "no more nominations of Billy's articles will be accepted until he is prepared to discuss the problems properly". As far as I can tell, this means not only self-nominations but nominations by others. The current discussion, if a consensus is reached, may conclude otherwise; until then, I don't think it would be appropriate for this nomination to be promoted, so I'm superseding the earlier approval. (I'm unaware of any discussion with Billy about the matters originally raised, so it appears the ban is still in place.) BlueMoonset (talk) 04:45, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
