Serpukhov-15[edit]

Created/expanded by Secretlondon (talk). Nominated by Carabinieri (talk) at 01:50, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the nomination! The main article on this (1983 Soviet nuclear false alarm incident), isn't new, of course. However it's not text spun off from an existing article as I rewrote it (and my emphasis is different and with academic references). Secretlondon (talk) 02:27, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
Mostly OK to go, but the first reference (ABM AND SPACE DEFENSE) mentions the incident as occuring in July 1983. Is this an error on the part of the publication or what? BTW, it would be interesting to have a general article on the Soviet/Russian closed military towns. Constantine 15:40, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
It's an error in that publication. I'll remove that reference as it doesn't add anything. Secretlondon (talk) 17:09, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
We have an article on closed towns here Secretlondon (talk) 17:15, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
OK then, everything checks out . I've also added the link to the towns in the hook. Constantine 17:45, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
Thank you. Secretlondon (talk) 18:03, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
