Created by DiplomatTesterMan (talk). Self-nominated at 11:03, 6 May 2020 (UTC).

  • DiplomatTesterMan, it's been over three weeks since you nominated this, well beyond the time when a QPQ review should have been submitted. Please do one right away. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:44, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
  • Doing just now. DTM (talk) 04:43, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

  • evrik Awww, so I just have to look for an interesting dyk? I will give it a try but this doesn't look too hopeful. Thanks. DTM (talk) 13:41, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Did you see anything interesting, hooky, when glancing through the article? DTM (talk) 13:42, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
  • I would strengthen the lead. Put something in there as to why this term matters. I think that would give you a good hook. --evrik (talk) 14:00, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Although I did make some additions to the article, I am coming up short with a hook that seems hooky enough. You can close this nom if you want. Thanks. DTM (talk) 07:17, 8 June 2020 (UTC)

@DiplomatTesterMan: Where does the term come from? Overgound versus under ground? --evrik (talk) 12:56, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
evrik, I checked online and couldn't find anything about the origin of the term which was disappointing. Anyway, here are two alt hooks for consideration, alt4 with the overground/underground part suggested:
ALT3: ... that if in Kashmir militants are fish, over ground workers are the water? "... if militants are seen as fish, OGWs are the water that ensures their survival,"
ALT4: ... that over ground workers act as the eyes and ears of the under ground militants in Kashmir? According to the Police Department's Crime Gazette, OGWs "act as eyes and ears of the underground militants",

  • I am approving Alt 4, though if the promoter wants Alt3, I'm okay with that as well. --evrik (talk) 03:18, 17 June 2020 (UTC)
