  • @Krisgabwoosh: I don't really love the idea of running a hook for which you could easily swap in six other names without breaking the hook at all. Is there a more uniquely "her" hook that could be found? theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (she/her) 09:34, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
I saw this "Of the candidates contesting the governorship in Tarija, Arce stood out as the only woman,[27] making her the first woman to do so in the department's electoral history," which could make for a good hook. Onegreatjoke (talk) 14:30, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
@Theleekycauldron and Onegreatjoke: How do we feel about tacking on "and was the first in the Tarija Department to ever do so" at the end? Keeps the original factoid while adding another more personal to her. Krisgabwoosh (talk) 16:40, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
@Krisgabwoosh: Sure if you feel like it. Onegreatjoke (talk) 16:32, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
@Krisgabwoosh: works for me; striking ALT0, feel free to propose that as an ALT1 and tag with {{DYK?again}} in waiting for a full review :) theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (she/her) 22:17, 27 February 2023 (UTC)

ALT1 ... that out of 84 total candidates, Mirtha Arce was one of just seven women running for governor in all of Bolivia in 2021 and was the first in the Tarija Department to ever do so? Krisgabwoosh (talk) 22:21, 27 February 2023 (UTC)

Review to come. Made some copyedits while reading. New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well cited (en español). Sources support ALT1, though could be massaged slightly:
  • ALT1a ... that out of 84 people running for governor seats in Bolivia in 2021, Mirtha Arce was one of just seven women and was the first in the Tarija Department to ever do so?
And QPQ done. Hameltion (talk | contribs) 19:43, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
