General: Article is new enough and long enough

Policy compliance:

  • Adequate sourcing: Yes
  • Neutral: Yes
  • Free of copyright violations, plagiarism, and close paraphrasing: No - A part of the first sentence in the "Wicket-keeping records" section (...the only member of the fielding side permitted to wear gloves and external leg guards.) appears to have been badly paraphrased from the website referenced (...the only fielder permitted to wear gloves and external leg guards.), with only one word having been changed.

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: No - The sentence in the article that states the fact does not have a citation at the end, and one does not appear until the end of the paragraph. Criterion 3B states that this is not sufficent.
  • Interesting: Yes
Image: Image is freely licensed, used in the article, and clear at 100px.
QPQ: Done.

Overall: See above. Philroc (c) 19:35, 4 June 2018 (UTC)

Hi Philroc, this fact is actually mentioned three times in the article, first at the end of the lead section, second in the image of caption of Rhodes and thirdly in the Oldest players section and is referenced each time. To your other point, I have reworded the sentence. Regards – Ianblair23 (talk) 09:30, 5 June 2018 (UTC)
@Ianblair23: I see the references now, thanks. I must have overlooked them. Good to go. Philroc (c) 11:32, 5 June 2018 (UTC)
Awesome! Thanks Philroc. Cheers – Ianblair23 (talk) 11:49, 5 June 2018 (UTC)
