Landing at Anzac Cove[edit]

Anzac Cove in 2004

  • ... that the landing at Anzac Cove (cove pictured) is now marked on 25 April each year by a service at the cove, in 2005 attended by an estimated 20,000 people?
  • Comment: Hook fact is the very last sentence of the article, immediately above "References". The reference is the first of the three cited for that sentence, currently ref number 186, at the end of the grey box on the right of the page linked to. Please hold for 25 April.

Improved to Good Article status by Jim Sweeney (talk). Nominated by Demiurge1000 (talk) at 20:01, 27 February 2014 (UTC).

  • New enough, long enough. Fully referenced. Good article. Hook verified against online source. Image appropriately licensed. FWIW though, the image cannot be legally placed in the public domain, so it is licensed for any purpose. Not too happy with no QPQ. Hold for 25 April. Hawkeye7 (talk) 22:02, 1 March 2014 (UTC)
