General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: Yes
  • Interesting: Yes
  • Other problems: No - hook length is 179 characters, which is a bit long. The strong quote is a good hook, but I will suggest alternatives to trim it slightly
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Overall, the article is a well-written and well-rounded overview of its subject. It is well-sourced, and a lot of work has clearly gone into the list of selected works.
I was initially concerned by the scores given by Earwig's Copyvio Detector, but closer inspection shows that is due solely to the verbose names of the various institutions he was associated with.
The final section "Personal life" has a lot of very short sentences, which are a bit clunky. That could resolved by some copyediting.
All we need is a trimmed hook, and that minor copyedit. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 22:24, 2 January 2022 (UTC)

  • @BrownHairedGirl:, I am good with ALT1 that you have proposed above. Made a few minor edits to the personal life section. Thanks. Ktin (talk) 23:23, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
Tweaked ALT1 to T:DYK/P5
