Thank you. I also did a little research and found lots of sources about him – he was certainly a notable figure! Article is new enough, long enough, adequately referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. Image is PD. QPQ done. The hook is OK, but it could be hookier. What do you think about:- ALT1: ... that John Calhoun (pictured), publisher of the first newspaper in Chicago, was originally apprenticed to be a carpenter in Watertown, New York?
