• ... that retired steam locomotive Illinois Central 790 (pictured) was frequently put back into service during floods because any amount of water made the diesel-electric locomotives short out?

• Comment: At this time this article is written entirely from one, public domain source. It is paraphrased and I thought I would take a chance because I think it is a fun hook and the photo is entirely mine.
