Horace P. Belknap[edit]

Source: On p. 1 of the 10 May 1936 edition of the Bend Bulletin (a newspaper published in Bend, Oregon), an article on Oregon National Guard accessions says: “Sixteen sets of (National Guard) applications have not yet been returned, due primarily to the absence of medical examiners, all of whom were in Prineville attending the funeral of Dr. Horace P. Belknap.”(subscription required)

  • Article is new, long enough, and written in accordance with policy on neutrality, plagiarism, and sourcing. The hook is interesting, cited inline, and barely meets the 200-character requirement. I would prefer that the hook be shortened a bit (perhaps changing the order) and that the source be changed to a clipped link that can be viewed without a subscription, if possible.
