Heteromyidae[edit]

  • ... that kangaroo rats in the family Heteromyidae do not need to drink because they obtain sufficient water from metabolising their food?

  • Article expansion length good, No policy violations found. The hook fact is partly verified, however the reference used only talks about the Sonoran species and states that most heteromyids don't need to drink, which seems to indicate that some species do need to drink.--Kevmin § 11:11, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
I have added an extra reference to the sentence backing up the hook as another source states "Kangaroo rats have a remarkable ability to live without access to free water. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 13:27, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Everything looks good now.--Kevmin § 16:42, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
