Han–Liu War[edit]

  • ... that many soldiers bought coffins before the Han–Liu War in order to prepare to fight to the death? Source: "Liu had managed to instil a certain steel into his troops however with many buying coffins before the war began in preparation for their 'fight to the death'." (Jowett, Philip S. (2017). The Bitter Peace. Conflict in China 1928–37, p. 207)

  • Article is new enough, long enough, neutral and well referenced. I love the hook – it is interesting and cited to an offline book (though the passage quoted above verifies the fact). Note that I duplicated the reference so that it appears at the end of the relevant sentence in the article – it may seem superfluous but those are the DYK rules. I wasn't able to check for close paraphrasing since I don't have access to any of the sources. QPQ is done. 97198 (talk) 05:33, 2 November 2017 (UTC)
