Ground-Mobile Command Center[edit]

  • ... that the U.S. did, or does, operate a fleet of "doomsday trucks" that may hit the road following a catastrophic nuclear attack against the United States?

  • DYK checklist template
General: Article is new enough and long enough

Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Core criteria checked per above template. Sole problem is that the article is unassessed, but must be Start class for DYK. I would assess it as such if it were not a conflict of interest. Third party guidance on this would be most welcome. Fascinating subject matter, and has to be tough to research what with security regs. Let's clear up the assessment issue, so we can "put this show on the road."Georgejdorner (talk) 22:44, 10 March 2016 (UTC)

The reviewing guide specifies that adding a Start-class assessment by a DYK reviewer is permissible Georgejdorner. LavaBaron (talk) 05:07, 11 March 2016 (UTC)
I have assessed article as Start Class. GTG.Georgejdorner (talk) 05:26, 11 March 2016 (UTC)
  • Suggested alt:
  • ALT1: ... that "doomsday trucks" may hit the road following a catastrophic nuclear attack against the United States?

- This trims the hook of essentially redundant content. Gatoclass (talk) 05:33, 11 March 2016 (UTC)

Support ALT1 as per Gatoclass. LavaBaron (talk) 05:37, 11 March 2016 (UTC)
Indeed, hook ALT1 is snappier. Although it can leave one wondering if there can be such a thing as a non-catastrophic nuclear attack.Georgejdorner (talk) 17:10, 11 March 2016 (UTC)
